Hmmm ... I don't think there's a free knife in it, but there's a reasonable chance that anything posted right about now would put this crazy thread at or over 500 posts.

I do have a small question, why are we doing this? Oh yea, we want to bury that Talonite Thread.
 
Well since Kit started this thread, and now he's not here to answer your, "Why are we doing this?" I'll take a shot at it, maybe it was to beat out the Talonite thread, maybe Kit just wanted to see if we could, maybe it was too pull some Lurkers in to post, maybe it was to show that KnifeKnuts are really sociable and friendly and not the 'Weapon weilding Wacos' some sheeple think we are.

In the end it won't matter, it was just fun.
By my count this is post #504, the next Goal that Kit set was to get to 25 pages. Let's see what happens if we cut down on the multiple posts by the Regulars here and try to encourage the FNG's to introduce themselves to the rest of us.

By the way, in Lord of the Rings, one of the Fellowship of the Ring, the Elf Legolas, is armed with a bow and a "long knife." I don't think the knife is described in detail. We now wait upon the Lord of the Rings movie project to see what they do with the sharp objects in the epic.
