I doubt it. It was a non-sticky for just a matter of seconds, I think BF doesn't allow you to make a sticky without making it a regular post first. There isn't a different timestamp for when you make it a sticky, so Jerry will probably just go by the original post time as the start date if he doesn't know exactly when it became a sticky. Lol, but nice try though, good optimism!!!

While I understand everyone wants to get a knife they want, let's please not be so focused on the "rules" that we lose out on the fun. I have missed out on many of the pieces I've wanted in the past and just try to be faster next time. I'm just happy Jerry offers these instead of just sending to another show (which they have coming up in INDY in a few weeks) If there are a ton of complaints and this becomes a big headache for them we'll all lose out.
So while there may be glitches lets not turn this into a legal debate
i have had a blast the last two days!! this being my first ganza, i can only look forward to more. it makes whatever we get that much sweeter!

We can see the minutes of Jerrys time stamp. Just wish it would show us the seconds also... might make it even more fun. Jerrys post is at :22 minutes.

I agree. What happens on Bladeforums stays on Bladeforums. If everyone starts whining to Jerry... no more 'Ganzaaaas.
All I know is that I miraculously made it into the forum after trying for a while, and did one refresh when I saw Jerry (Moderator) post "Go Go Go" in a general post format. Apparently the post only had 0 views when my jaw hit the email send button.

The BIGGER concern, perhaps, is how your ISP/server routes the email.
In one Ganzaaaa, the Skunkenator was one of the first to hit SEND. However, his email didn't show up in the Busse Inbox till the next day.
Of course, Amy-O is going to go by order received.

Thanks for the information and your opinion. I'm still fairly new to these ganzas, but from what I've seen a bit of trickery and deception are part of the fun. Since I'm not familiar with the mechanics involved in posting a sticky, and Jerry specifically indicated it would be a sticky, I thought it reasonable that this might all be part of the game. If not no worries.
