The folks who started Queen Cutlery on the bones of Schatt&Morgan (of old), were mostly former S&M employees, and I can only imagine their enthusiasm for a new project! With their ups and downs through the 1930s to only a few years ago, they had a large share of the American market!! Though the end was ignominious and painful, the Company had its Glory Days; Many good quality knives - a lot of Stainless Steel - and knives for several other Brands were made by Queen: Schatt & Morgan, Cripple Creek, Robeson, Winchester, Sargent, Tenney, Queen City, Scagel, Northwoods etc. The list goes on and on!! A lot of good cutlery was made by them, eventually on some worn, decrepit equipment!!
Here are a few interesting examples of their work! I hope you will add some more - a Company worthy of remembering!!:)Doctor Pearl 1.jpg Doctor Pearl 2.jpg Gentlemen 1.jpg Gentlemen 2.jpg Queen Beads 1.jpg Queen Beads 2.jpg

Great idea Charlie

"Happy & Glorious, Born to Rule Over Us" ;) (never liked that line from the British anthem, but not fond of the words of most anthems for that matter :D)

I'm about to turn in for the night but got a couple I'd like to share: Queen Cutlery No. 26 Small Stockman in D2 steel and White Carved Stag Bone. I carry this compact knife a lot, its low riding Sheepfoot is a nice aspect too, it's like having a 3 blade Penknife.

My problem is that I'm not sure how many Queen-made knives I might have.
I don't think I have any with an actual Queen (or Queen City) tang stamp.
A few more Queen-made knives!! ...View attachment 1413818 ...
I have an S&M Heritage jack that's very similar to the bottom knife in Charlie's photo, except mine is a single blade (not surprising in a generous gift from @mrknife - thanks, Jack! ;):cool:).

Queen made Winchester Black Box from 80s/90s Some great bark-like bone on these and a very large selection of patterns

Will's reminder that the Black Box Winchesters were made by Queen helped me remember that I have a candle-end, dogleg, teardrop jack with striking jigging like the bottom one in Will's pic (thanks, Paul):
