God Save the Queen!!

My first Queen! Just found yesterday, NIB. (Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't do a very good job of wiping down the blades after oiling, sharpening, and handling.) 1982 #9125 muskrat with "chipped bark" Delrin covers. I found a 1982 Queen catalog online that says 1982 was the first year for the Rogers-designed chipped bark Delrin and the first year for the Queen circle shield; blade steel listed as 440A with stainless backsprings. I think I may have a "problem" -- this is my eighth muskrat, a pattern that I once considered "weird."

It was made at Queen in 1989, during the "Black Box" era, and for Blue Grass Cutlery who still manages the Primble name I believe!!!
Too bad the etch doesn't scan better!! It reads, "PERFECT TEXAS (Primble Logo) JACK KNIFE"!!!
So in the naming confusion we know so well, Primble called this Sowbelly, double-end, Trapper, a Perfect Texas Jack, #4986!! Will marketing never cease??
I guess, never!! Still, it's a great knife in hand, whatever it is!!! Nice semi-sunk joints, and a grippey shaped Sowbelly!! Full length blades,
it probably works anywhere, as well as in Texas!!! 😁
With two springs, it's no problem to display both blades, for those who care about such risky moves!!!
