Love the " bark " on your canoe Charlie.Queen-made knife threads have slipped all the way down to page ten (10)!!! I suspect GEC has pushed them under water, but we must remember, Bill Howard made many of them, especially the Schatt & Morgan sets!!! Here is a nice Canoe that was part of a set!! The set commemorated Pete Cohan when he was NKCA President 26 years ago!!View attachment 3218542View attachment 3218552
I'm not much of a Canoe guy, but I couldn't pass up this one!! Nicely made, visually and functionally, it snaps with gusto, and has a great deep etch, with a gold fill!! The bone is jigged specially for the pattern shape!! The knife is a piece of cutlery art!!!
(The scratches are on my scanner!)
Thanks Bob!! It's a beauty, at 3 5/8"!!! I think that shaping of the jigged panel to suit the knife is just exquisite!!Love the " bark " on your canoe Charlie.
