Hey Mark, You are ready to the max. The badger and GW would get the hog done but it never hurts to take a big knife. Small saw nice to have. I was a union meatcutter for 7 years in my 20's. A 3.5 blade is what I use to dress hog, cut through the joints on front legs. You may need a saw to cut the lower back legs off.
You hit that hog anywhere up front(lungs, neck,head) and he's going down with that load!!!
We use 22mag around here when Deer season is out. Can use only rimfire
when deer season over. I have to wait for a 50yd or less shot and then from a rest. One in the ear or real close has never failed to put one down.
