CONGRATS ! Your in for a real treat. just a suggestion,,I planted a maple on my property the day my daughter was born. It was just a twig and now its a monster tree and shes 27. She gets a kick out of that tree .

Enjoy your happiness. There will always be periods of worry, sadness and self-doubt.
Create an album of happy memories you can come back to in the hardest moments.
(I wish for you those will teething and puberty only, but puberty alone can be so bad you need this album. Hormones are pretty powerful - as you might be able to witness in your woman pretty soon, be patient with her.)
Even though I remember the bad times clearly, kids are the best thing to happen to anyone. And time flies, enjoy it as much as possible.

You'd be amazed at what a footrub will do for her after about 4-5 months into the pregnancy.

I'm already amazed by what it does to lighten a rough day for her NOW. s€he gets one every couple of days as it is!

Congrats! My first is about to turn 2 and its a life changing experience!
I guess Im still a lot of kid myself even though Im well passed 40.
I still get in the floor and crawl around with cars and play ball.

Make sure to treat yourself to a nice knife when the baby is born. Then you can always tell yor kid they were useful because they let you get a cool knife
