Gonna Be Gone.....

hey, the doctor should be doing all this with Becker knives, not scalpels :)

and we want pictures, or it didn't happen!

chicks dig scars ;) (and apparently 10% of guys do too. hah)

Sort of a primitive-skills, in-the-field hernia operation...
I'm following you, Bladite.

Pictures?
We'd need YouTube videos! :D

Let the Doc in on the Feb challenge.
The whole surgery one Becker knife of his choice. LOL
Take care Ethan.

Get better buddy hernia's are know fun....

Is the hernia from lifting the BK2?

Be well Ethan and a speedy recovery...

1) Hernia needs fine blade work so I would suggest the little Remora.
2) A BK-2 tattoo to cover up any slight scarring :D

It's no problem, Ethan. I've had 2 done - 1 groin, and 1 epigastric. The first I had done about 30 years ago in a local hospital - spent about a week in bed.

The groin hernia I had done at the world renowned Shouldice Clinic in Toronto about 10 years ago. There were people there from around the world! All they do is hernia repairs, nothing else. They don't put you out, only local anaesthesia. They walk you to and from the operating table.

They send you to bed for a few hours, then up and on an exercise bike!!! I kid you not. You stayed at the clinic for 3 days during which we stayed up to all hours of the morning playing cards, etc. Out for walks during the day. The only real discomfort was the second day, when a couple of guys and I went over to the local mall and something got us laughing.

Must have been quite a sight - 3 grown men squatting down on the sidewalk holding our various surgery sites until we stopped laughing.

Anyway, Ethan, best of luck, although you won't really need it.

Doc

Been there, but it was NOTHING like trying to pass that damn stone! Thought I was gonna die! literally! We'll all be thinking about you Big E!

I think my dad has had both of those things happen too and the stones are what is retells with great pain. I think I will pass on that experience if I am able too. :(

Ethan - Best of luck and a speedy recovery.

Hey Ethan, I'll hoist one up for you to have a speedy recovery..... Remember, for the time being, no knives..... just the remote in one hand and maybe a tumbler of Kentucky's Finest in the other......
