good luck, I have 2 hernia operations myself. do not, I repeat DO NOT over exert yourself! you will feel much worse if you strain yourself until you are fully healed.

comfortable couch and helpers at the house getting things for you. Movies and HD tv make the time go by...
 
Good luck Ethan. I just had a shoulder replacement surgery recently. Take your time, and get fully healed before doing much. Be careful of those Oxycodons. I couldn't eat for several weeks, until I found out it was the Oxycodons that were causing the lack of appetite. Everything tasted like crap:)

I just talked to a very heavily medicated Ethan, he's good to go, everything went well, and he's heading home to take it easy.

The surgery is rather benign, but anytime you get your guts cut open, its not good.

Just thought ya'll would want to know.

the faster one is out of the hospital, the better. too many iatrogenic issues there.

doctors and nurses that don't wash their hands should be beaten severely :P

As the Moose has reported I am happy with the surgery and am home , doped to the gills and praying nobody makes me laugh.....Really good folks at our hospital, really decent.....From the way the incision is acting the Doc did a great job......

couldn't agree more, was watching a show once that was testing for bacteria etc and hospital floors ranked on the top 3 iirc, probably #1..

when my son was 2 he was seriously ill with rsv went home after a few days, only to return the very next day with rotovirus that some careless nurse passed onto him after seeing another infected child down the hall.. talk about wanting to beat someone severely...... good thing I didn't have a Becker on me :D
