Good $10-70 unusual knife to scratch the itch?

Yes, I've been looking at those - also like their others, but other svord knives are unavailable in the USA

I've just ordered some Condor knives, a Bushcraft and Bushlore. Carbon steel, wood handles, $25 each. They get mentioned quite a bit in the Wilderness forum, but mine haven't arrived yet.

Any interest in bayonets? Genuine surplus bayonets from around the world are available for $10 and up. I don't have an interest in collecting weapons or military items, but do have a few interesting bayonets as examples of bladed items.

Atlanta Cutlery still has antique khukris, accessory knives, and "patch knives." Very interesting and in your price range. Here's an old BF topic with pictures and comments: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=459191

If none of those are "interesting" enough, I can't imagine what would be. ;)

Boker/Krein Pocket Bowie - 440C, G-10 scales. Great little knife for about $25 bucks.

To resurrect this thread - any new stuff to recommend?

Hi scotchleaf -

I bough one of the CRKT Klecker Nirks just to see one and check out the design - you can get them for around 10-15 dollars US.

Not a high quality steel etc, but an interesting knife for it's design.

How about ye ol Cold Steel Paradox? I just got one, and it certainly is entertaining. Looks amazing.
I got the trainer version of the Benchmade 42, and while that undoubtedly is a more ergonomic knife like object, the Paradox is quite unique in it's purpose.
