Richard, if you use both of the wheels above, doesn't one sharpen? The guy said it was 150 grit. The slotted wheel polishes right? I don't know why you mentioned a leather belt though. I guess I need to study this more. I don't have any damaged blades just my small collection of users to keep sharp.
Those wheels look really fast unless the guy was doing it really quick as a demo. My problem is that I have a workbench in my basement but I really don't have a spot to mount a motor. I've got to many loaders one their mounted on the bench and on boards for re-loading shells and cartridges. Can one of those motors run free with the paper wheels or must it be mounted onto something.
This motor from Harborfreight.com looks like a nice size but the wheels seem like they'd hit the floor/table/workbench due to it's low height? What a really portable set-up if anyone knows and cares to share. I mean low expense, portable (if possible) and motor & wheel companies to look for.
