Good CRK Warranty Experience?

Heres some pics of a large Classic after some warranty work and refurbishing. I bought it used off the exchange and to my surprise when I received it I found out what horrible
condition functionally it was in. Lock bar was at 5% and stiff as hell. It disengaged with a very light spine wack. Action was almost to the point where it was impossible to close.

I decided to send it in for service. Well CRK took care of me and sent back what looked and functioned like a brand new knife. Jesse helped me the whole way through the process and I came away a very happy and loyal customer to CRK.

Got a starbenza, wanted to lock checked, seemed a bit late. Chris inspected it found it was in spec, it was cleaned up nicely washers checked, had a new lanyard added and back in 2 weeks maybe a bit less.

Didn't charge me a thing. Not even return shipping.

ok but i see why you had a smooth warranty process.

I've not used CRK's warranty and don't expect to. I have had CRKs for over 10 years with no problems. Used all of them for typical EDC type tasks but always went to other knives for hard use that have a more robust design and lock. Not too sure if I used them as hard as a couple of my other knives that they would hold up which is why I save the abuse for other designs. The beauty of the CRKs are not that they are indistructable but they have a level of perfections that most knives in the same price range can't touch.

Bit of an update. My Sebenza arrived in Idaho on Friday while CRK is closed(next time im upgrading my shipping). So tomorrow I should get the its arrived email and hopefully work on it will follow shortly after. Im going nuts without a Sebenza!

Just want to say I have had great experiences thus far. Yes my issue is a minor one, although it was a pain in the a** for me to try to resolve on my own, but the forum and CRK have been fantastic.

Thanks guys! :)

Nothing but the best experiences here, having carried CRK's for over 10 years now. Usually mine go back to the motherland for double lugs or reblasting.

For better or worse, and perhaps to a fault, Chris is very passionate about the knives that he has put 30+ years of blood and sweat into. He's no CSR; he's a designer, engineer, machinist, knifemaker, and businessman involved with some of the most precision-made tools on the market today.

Being a quasi professional musician, I can dig where he's coming from. :)

Prof.

Just a bit of an update. Took one week for my Sebenza to get to CRK for repairs, spent four days there, and is already fixed and ready for shipping today. Granted my repairs were not "extensive", but to be able to squeeze my knife in for work in that short of a time frame is impressive to me.

Can't wait to get it back in my hands!

Big thumb up to CRK!

Just wanted to share that I have only had fantastic experiences with CRK and all the wonderful people I have spoken to or communicated with via email. In addition it seems they handle a large volume of send in's extremely well and quickly, whether its resharpen, spa treatment, or repairs. Its one of the biggest benefits of buying a CRK, knowing that you have that level of customer service to back up the knife.

Three nail biting weeks later she's back in my hands! Just sharing the excitement as it has absolutely sucked to be without my Sebenza.

Got another box, pouch and grease I ordered, and another tool which I wont be touching again for a very long time!:)

Thanks to everybody who cooled my nerves, much appreciated. I can say first hand my CRK experience was GREAT!
