Hi People,
I have this old Gerber Paraframe, and the axle pin sheared off a the head. It's not a super duper knife, but it's been around the block and has some sentimental value. Within an hour an hour I had a response to my email inquiring if I could buy a replacement axle pin.
Note that the Paraframe sells for maybe $20 in-store, and is made in China. Yet Gerber shipped me a new pin asap for free, along with a little torx driver.
I was basically done buying Gerber knives, mainly because I prefer other stuff and am willing to spend a little more than in the past. However, they treated me so well that I will now likely replace my stolen EZ-out (from like 5 years ago) at some point to keep as a backup merely because Gerber did right by me. It's not a priority, but it's back on the list.
So far I've had the best customer service experiences with American firearms and knife manufacturers. Keep up the quality and service and customers will stick with you!
Cheers,
