If your talking prying I think you should go fixed, your tasks seems strenuous enough to warrant it. Go with a RAT 3 or ENTREK Badger. If you have to go folding I think the Lonewolf Longhorn (or currently Benchmade Trask or something) The Benchmade 940 or 950 with it's Reverse Tanto gives you good slicing belly with a still strong tip too. The advantage of the RAT fixed blade is if you break it they'll replace it for free. Alternatively you could go with a leatherman surge, wave, charge. They give you a lot of capability to not use your blade for stuff it wasn't ment for, and leatherman has a really lax warrenty in my experience. All they ask for is two handles so the guy sending it in cant just send one handle at a time to get 2 replacements for the price of one
