I want to first say thanks to you guys for answering my other questions I have had, and how great some of the responses are. Ok, now to business, I am looking for a good edc knife at 2.5 in. I would look online to answer the question, but I know you guys give better answers, if you guys could give me some recommendations, I would really appreciate it!

Spyder Dice would be me first choice if I was buying a 2.5 inch edc. Great company, great steel, good ergos, and a flipper or spydie hole for deployment.

For the recordi dont own a dice or work for spydeco. I do carry its bigger brother the domino a bunch and love it.

The Spyderco Dragonfly is nice and light. I have the ZDP-189 version. I kind of want the Dice, but I think it's too expensive (for the use I'll get out of it considering that I already have similar knives).

The Dragonfly is a good one. Any 85mm Wenger SAK. Buck 303 stockman pattern. Gerber LST, although that might be a hair longer than 2.5.

I recommend either a dragonfly or a native 5. The native has an overall blade length of 3" but half an inch is in the choil making the cutting edge right at 2.5". It's a fantastic blade and I carry mine almost every day.

I have the Dice, love it :) It has been my EDC folding knife for the past three weeks since I got it. Kicked out no less than ZT 0562CF from the pocket :)

Now that is an endorsement. Is it much different than a Domino? Harder to open because of the size?

Dragonfly 2, ended up selling my knife collection to fund others but kept the DF2. Great size and weight.

Delica4 FFG. The Caly3 is just a bit over 2.5". Both are fantastic EDC knives. Personally, I like the Caly3 a little more, but the Delica4 is a close second favorite Spyderco knife for me.

Dont' own a Domino, but based on photos I can say that it is noticeably smaller - also the handle. Not a knife for big hands then. Really fast opener, I actually had to clean the 0562CF because it was not opening as fast as the Dice :D

As for the EDC thing, Dice wins over 0562CF purely because of it's size. Nothing more. In the sheeple-infested office space that is my workplace, smaller blade means less unwanted attention...

Spyderco Dragonfly ZDP-189--Has been an excellent knife for over a year, hasn't had to be sharpened.
Spyderco Dice--CTS-XHP, flipper, CF.
DPx HEAT--If you want a tiny overbuilt folder, look no further. Too beefy for my needs in that size. Never carried it so I sold it.

Spyderco Techno is a stout FFG titanium folder that carries and cuts well. I EDC'd the techno for a couple of years and loved it.

Spyderco Persistence or Ambitious. I carry the Persistence often and like it. If you're getting tired of all the good Spyderco suggestions maybe check out a Cold Steel Micro Recon 1 2" or the Mini Recon 1 3". Also, the Kershaw suggestion is a good one as well. Kershaw and Spyderco make good knives.

I have a Spyderco Kiwi lockback that is fine when I want a smaller knife. It is the first model and no longer in production. The Kopa is also a nice, small knofe.
If you are OK with 2 handed openers, and don't mind this, take a look at the Moki small lockbacks nd the Fallkniven Blackhawk, also made by Moki.

Spyderco Delica 4 FFG VG-10 may be slightly larger than 2.5" but it's close to the perfect EDC. Although I have a strong feeling it's not gonna see much pocket time for awhile once my Spyderco Gayle Bradley arrives in a few hours :). Seriously though the Delica is such an amazing EDC. But like I said I think the blade is over 2.5" but not by much although if you need it that small for legal reasons it may not be an option
