Good folder for under $200??

No problems Reeek! I honestly don't think the OP would be unhappy with ANY knife from the ZT line!

Thanks for all the info and feel free to keep it coming. I am really looking towards some spyderco and emerson knives. Lycosa, that is an awesome looking knife you recommended (DDR MQ1A)!! I am seriously leaning towards this one. I will continue the search and keep you updated. Thanks again.

Absolutley not ;) I own 5 already!

I think the 0200 is a steal of a deal at the typical $128

The ZT0200 is one of the very best deals going. I think they would probably sell at twice the price. Kershaw really hit a homerun with this line of knives. I mean the fit and finish on these knives, at the price they go for, is outstanding!:thumbup::) At least I think so.

Personally, I think the world of the Bradley Alias'. Really solid construction, ti handles, S30V, framelock for a TON of security. Really nice knife.

I am a big Emerson guy in that price range. I highly recommend the A-100, which I just purchased. Very nice, simple, razor sharp and rugged as all get out. Super knife from a super man.

OK, so I've only been here a short time, so my opinion isn't the most well-informed. Anyway, I would vote for Emerson knives, and perhaps Benchmade. I have a Benchmade mini-stryker that is my EDC until my Emerson arrives (hopefully today).

I'm up for getting rid of my Manix (user, great shape, just reassembled to clean the internals and lube with Militec), as that's been mentioned.

Some folders must go to make room for more fixed blades...

I agree with most of the suggestions here.

I'd like to also suggest looking into the Benchmade H&K series. They're all very well built & well within your price range.I have the BM14205 & it's one of my favorite knives.

Good luck:)

Dang that sucks.....you think that would be a fairly simple option.
One would think.

I guess we lefties are not important in their eyes...

I think that my next Benchmade is probably going to be a plain edge 14205. Since they don't make a G10 Grippy, this is probably the next best (affordable) alternative for me... :)

Well, that could be disputed :D, there are those "griptilikins," a company that specializes in making G-10 handle conversions for griptilians. They cost a pretty penny, but they look great IMO. I'll find a link and edit it in here when I find it.

Edit: found it:):

Yeah, I've seen those. That is why I added the word "affordable" to my post. ;)

I would still love to have a set of those, though.......
