Hi

I need some recommendations for a good reliable knife store that ship to Canada , and hopefully , use USPS as shipping method

Thanks

New Graham Knives is where you want to order from. I have had orders arrive in my mail in less than a week. Go to their website, browse around, then get on the phone. They will take your order, ask you how you want it shipped, and they use the USPS which doesn't have any surprise surcharges.

New Graham will give you a total for your order in US dollars, so there is no surprises at the post office.

You should also check at knivesshipfree.com, they only charge 5$ for shipping to Canada. Depending on what your looking for, you should also check warriorsandwonders.com their already in Canada. Personaly I had many many surprises at the post office when ordering from the US with USPS. Last 3 orders were in average 150$-200$ and all of them cost me over 40$ in taxes and handling fees (Charged by the Canadian Border).:jerkit:

The problem with New Graham Knives they only accept Western Union as a payment method for international orders , at least according the FAQ on their website
I don't care how good they are , I'm not going to touch Western Union with a ten-foot pole

Yeah , that sucks , but it's nothing comparing what the scumbags @ UPS would have charge you
With USPS\Canada Post , if the customs mark your package , you pay GST\PST + DUTY if applicable (NAFTA) + 5$ fixed handling fee

With UPS , the handling\brokerage\bullshit fee alone would have been something like 40-50$ , easily

knivesshipfree.com doesn't have the knives I'm looking for , but 5$ shipping to Canada is a very good rate

TNK is in Canada
Thanks !
Too bad the prices and shipping rate are ridiculously high

No, that is NOT correct.I, like many Canadians have bought from them on several occasions and know for a fact they will accept CC like Visa,Mastercard,Money orders and will ship any way you wish from USPS First Class to UPS,Fedex. You can even order online but make sure in the comments box you specify you want it shipped USPS and not UPS.

Take a look here -

I'm a new customer , so according to their FAQ , WU is the only option

Any other recommendations ?
Is there any reliable eBay sellers that shipping to Canada and doesn't charge X2 of the actual USPS rate ?

Thanks

All I can say is that I'm in Canada and I've dealt with New Graham Knives many times over the last couple of years and used my credit card. They have been nothing but absolutely fantastic to deal with.

I shipped a Sharpmaker to Finland for less than $20 using the USPS ,most of the knives I shipped cost less than $8 to ship in the US.. I do recommend the insurance.

Whats their shipping rate to Canada via USPS anyway ?

The rate for shipping with New Graham would depend on the size and weight. What the USPS charges them is what they charge you.Like what was said before you can place you order online with a CC or by calling their toll free number.

Yeah , I talked with Annie via e-mail and they do accept credit card

Don't know what the WU thing is all about , maybe their website is just not updated
