Just want to get everyone's opinions on what they like. I have a ZT 801. Pictures are always a plus.

Thanks

Full Ti for both slabs?...ZT 0808, 0900, Spyderco Slysz Bowie, Spyderco Military Titanium to name a few.

Large Sebenza 21. Simple and built like a tank. If for some reason you don't like it, resale value is strong.

+1 on both stated facts about the Large 21 Plain. I carry one every day.

I'm in a similar position. But my budget is a bit higher. I keep coming back to the Spartan Harsey Folder and ZT 0620 CF.

For $250ish , I'd go for the fluted Ti Military. And if you don't mind flippers , there are some nice ZT's out there for under $250.

Ti Millie, fluted or not....carrying mine now.....total beast that feels amazing in hand with a great feeling action! Can't go wrong!

Pro Tech TR-3 manual.....I'm the third owner of one and this thing is tight like it's new! Great steel, smooth as oiled glass and flat out cuts!!

ZT 452CF or 562CF.....Ti only one side, but both are awesome!!

Good luck!
Joe

Freeman 451 Button Lock Flipper in titanium with cf inlays. I love ZT and Spyderco but the BLF is special! It's a small batch, near custom too.

Oops, sorry, misread the OP, saw it as $250+...the BLF in ti is close to $400. Still, the Al version is great, it's what I have.

ZT801 on clearance now is hard to not buy. At least for me. All Ti handle slabs on bearings with Elmax for under $150

Reate D9.
Flips very well, has decent cutting geometry, milled clip, and all around built like a tank. If you're wondering how it compares to various ZT offerings I will tell you this: I used to be a ZT fan and didn't think it was possible to get better quality for the price. Then I got my D9.

ZT 0562. Solid lock-up, nice ergos, and deep pocket clip. Great addition to the rotation. Switch between that and Sebenza 25 w/Micarta.

I respect your opinion but have to say that the D9 is $199 and the ZT0801 is $192, the ZT0220 is $228, the ZT0456 is $240, ZT0808 is $200 and ZT0562 is $200. I don't think we are talking that much difference in price and the ZT's are made in the USA, have a warranty/customer service record that is beyond compare and are also tanks.

For those recommending Sebenzas, when did a sebenza become $250?

I do agree with others who rwcommend spyderco ti military, plain or fluted. You cant go wrong.

Seriously look at the ZT0220 and ZT0456 both are awesome knives! The ZT0095BW is also pretty darn sweet too!

You , sir , have excellent taste. If ever there was a flipper that I'd own it would be that bottom knife in the pic.

Question : in your opinion , do you feel that the flipper trigger would pose a problem if the knife was carried loose in the pocket with the clip removed ?
