Goose why?

So Jeff, if you are still reading this, I want a 110NS FG BG-42 Koa with pins as a user (I'll clean up the Golden Eye and put it away since it's odd). Why Koa? I grew up in Hawai'i and that's their wood.
Hey Goose,
If you get a 110 with KOA and BG-42 steel, you gotta get it with brass bolsters.
Mike

If we had some egge, we could have some spam & eggs if we had some spam....

Nite yall,,, gotta get up at 4:30 to head out to the stand. Watched a real nice 8pt yesterday, but may keep him fresh on the hoof till next year.

Lot of turkey tracks so will be watching for them tomorrow. Season is drawing to and end so will be spending more time in the field. Did a bunch of repair on frozen water lines at the well today. Along with a new metal roof on the oldest stand... Too much work ...this deer hunting stuff...

the lansky is in the pack and the wayward AG 110 is just itching to be sharpened..One of its virgin brothers is riding in the horizontal sheath as we speak. It may go back in the box since the non virgin showed back up.

This wireless laptop in the rv is too cool... but knives need a sharpening... will let yas all know if we score tomorrow.. and I still need to get up some pics of the grand daughter and her 8pt rack...

And,,,,I too need a good user BG42 110. Can't bring myself to drag one of the NS Sambars out here.

Nite all... cool thread....

story.
Pics, we need pics...or are they at spamforums.com:D . Test results for BG42 vs. S30V too, like "how many cans of spam were opened before resharpening was needed".

I have two shrines ...
One on my little desk

Hmmm...
That does look VERY nice Mike. Have actually checked it out before but forgot how good it does really look. I was thinking about the brass tarnishing...then again, I guess I could polish it from time to time. :)
Great looking koa!!!

Preston...thanks for the link on the steel...:) I have bookmarked it.

Jeff...you got a hall pass? ;)

Yes, But I wanted his thoughts.:D

How's a pic Jeff?
These pics are PG-13.
I couldn't keep that Koa off the Golden Eye

BTW, my mutt is a ham. Her name is "Kona" so, WTF, Koa being a Hawaiian wood...why not?

Thanks for the photo's Goose.
That Koa wood is cool .Almost, looks like walnut gun stock
wood on a custom rifle. Those beagles are cool
also. They really get to attached to you.But not in a sheepherder
way.My dogs are half beagle and half bassethound. But they are
always my friend.

Thanks peeps.
The Koa is pretty cool.
Neglected to mention earlier that the find is thanks to Jim the Food Hunter and his auction search skills. The knife is from Whatever on that famous auction site that starts with a vowel.

Mr. P., so far as gestation...my herd practices safe knifing. As an Eagle Scout, I must ensure that.

You don't have to thank me Goose,
You just saved me my allowance for the month thats all ;)
Cute lil beagle by the way. I hope that little one is spoiled :D

Thanks Jim. Really glad to find the knife I've been wanting for more than just a few months.

I'm spent out of my Jan allowance and it's only the first week of the month. Today it was a two Mickey Dee double cheeseburger kine day. $2.17

And, yes, anything or anyone that can get me outta bed at 0'Dark-Thirty in the morning so I can open a door for it to pee is very spoiled. She's my baby...and she knows it.
