Finally got a chance to meet the talented Scott Gossman this weekend. He was gracious host and was extremely generous with his knowledge and skills. He sharpened up a bunch of knives for alot guys and showed us some very easy hand sharpening methods that will work for any grind.
I have been lucky enough to attend quite a few get togethers on these forums, and have always met a bunch of great people. This time was no different. I think I speak for all who attended when I say; we all had an outstanding time!

I also got a chance to meet and hang with our newest Modzilla. He is a blast to camp with and a very skilled outdoorsman as well. The rest of the crowd were all top notch as well. It was a great hanging with some old friends and meeting some new ones as well.

Thanks to Lungcutter and his son for bringing the venison, and thanks to Jerry as always for cooking it!
A big thank you to Scott Gossman and Mark of EDC Depot for surprizing all of us with an extremely generous giveaway. No one left empty handed.

Enjoy some pics. There are more over at Gossman's forum. Here

Amidst all this commotion, there was one important fact:

James brought 12 wine bottles of meade to share with everyone.

And also another important note, though there was much alcohol consumption, all the sharp things were put away before hand.

Man that looks like a heluva trip. Scotts the man, and makes one DAMN fine blade.

I wish I couldve made it out there.... Ah, maybe next time.

What a great collection of steel, and good times.

Looks like the whole gang was there! Sorry I missed it, it looks like it was a blast.
