Gossman Knives campout and shop tour

Looks like a great time! My kid will be living in New Hampsire before the next one and I plan on going to the next one with him!

Mike

Great pics guys! Thanks to Marcelo, TonyM, Joezilla, Ed, Lt Mike and Scott. Did some horse trading with Marcelo, Tony and Joe, and enjoyed their company; Ed informed me that the HBC Chief camp knife I picked up at a powwow was indeed a custom, from Terry Baublitz to boot with a little bit of history ;), Lt Mike added another design to my orders from Scott. Who else? Oh yeah ;) :D, Scott, thanks man for another great time.

I made a pact, I will lose at least 50 lbs for next year, so I can have one goomba. I am working on 100 lbs, so I can have TWO goombas!

Awesome pics guys. Thanks for coming out and enjoying my little part of the world. I'm lucky to have my shop in a place where I can host such an event.
Tony, Marcelo, thanks for posting the pics of the King and Queen seat at Rocks State Park. There is alot of Native American history in Harford County Maryland.
Joezilla, your tent is awesome. I woke up Sat. looking for the elk hunters. :D

Yeah awesome:rolleyes:

He didn't wake you up at midnight and use his mod powers to force you to help set up that 65lb canvas hotel in the rain:grumpy:

Just kidding Joe
:D:thumbup:

That tent is definately not one to hike with. :D

That was the most sharpening I've ever done in a short peiod of time. Joe's 22" machete was like sharpening a sword.

Good trip. I can only echo the thanks previously mentioned.

Tony, it was very nice to meet you.

To everyone that was there, I want to say thanks for making this a great weekend. It was nice to see old friend and make some new.

Scott, Billy and I are looking forward to next year.

Thanks.

It really was a terrific time with some kind spirited people. Everyone there added to the great time. There was indeed some wonderous mead induced merriment on Saturday night. It was more like a party. I saw Tim walk about 30 feet at a fortyfive degree angle to the floor and not fall. Joe is a blast to hang with and his bud James was awesome to meet. Really good conversations and outdorr fun to boot. Knives, axes, gear, camp food, hanging in Scott's shop. It was great to get together with everyone there and I thank Scott for his graciousness, and everyone there for their friendship and fellowship.

I also wanted to mention that I got to see alot of knives from the makers who frequent this forum. There were NWA, Fiddleback, Koyote, David Farmer, ML, Brian Andrews, DP, Brian Goode, Koster, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. All I can say is outstanding work fellas.
Scott

Looks like a wonderful time, sorry I couldn't make it, I would have really enjoyed meeting you all. Funny.... Tony set up Joe's tent, and Scott sharpened Joe's blade.... did Joe do anything at all? :D

dang guys!!!!! Looks like a hell of a time!!!

I have made meade, I didn't make this stuff. James and I are going to try to have a business next year once I get the bees.
