Just thought Id show everyone what the postman dropped off for me today. A package from Scott Gossman! Scott recently added a new knife to his legendary PSK line. A supersized PSK called the PSK Xtreme!! :cool: And, just in time for my long wait on his waiting list to be over. :thumbup::thumbup:

This is the main blade for my 1 year experiment. I wanted the main blade of the trio for EDC/woods use to be a medium sized fixed blade, a blade Ive never owned or put my hands on, and an all around utility type design. Of course convexed, and made of tool steel with a badass heat treat. It timed perfectly with this blade, so, I chose it. I dont think I made a bad choice either. ;) It fills all of my requirements perfectly, and well, its a Gossman, so you know its bad ass, and tough as hell.

It came today. Mailed friday, cae monday. Now thats service. Heres some specs...

5in blade, 4.5in handle, O1 steel, GCM scales

Heres some pics of it at the start of its year long journey. I am gonna take it mushroom hunting weds, and review it, so stay tuned!!

Thanks brother, its the sliding bushcraft lanyard from the thread recently, Id thought Id give it a try. Added a Skull to spruce it up.:cool:

Looks about as perfect as can be. You could easily get by with that as your only woods knife, so the two other knives will just be icing :thumbup: Oh yeah and the Emerson skull is sweet!

Man thats sweet J!!

That leather looks way too classy for you though....

J,

Looking at that beauty, I think I'm warming up to the one blade thing...

Awesome Score!:thumbup::thumbup:

J, that looks like one heck of a blade:thumbup: I think you made a very good choice there. Awesome design, simple and straightforward...can't beat that.
Looking forward to your thoughts on this knife over the next year.

I love how the design was scaled up from the smaller versions. Without an in-hand pic, I wouldn't have had any idea how big it actually was. Cool knife. Enjoy the hell out of it!

great looking knife J...:thumbup: i like it.. not much you can't do with that one out in the backcountry.. Scotts work is top notch.. all meant to be used...

Looks like a great user J. I suggest loosing the little skull - makes you look like an 80's headbanger :D

(p.s. in highschool I had a left side ear-ring that looked just like that!)
