Gossman PSK Xtreme!!!!

Hope it serves you well for your year long test Jake. Keep me posted as this is only the second one out there. I have to give credit to a customer for coming up with this size. They wanted a larger version of the PSK Sr. and after several emails, this was the size he decided on. I didn't think much of it until I profiled and did the grind. Once it was in my hand, I thought I've got a new member to the PSK family here. :D

Its a great blade Scott, I see no reason why it wont serve well for many years to come.

Thanks again!!

I think you are okay with that sheath J. It is a no frills design for sure. Gossman didn't even run a thread groove for it. It is thick leather, no frills, no design elements - just a thick as hell folded piece of leather sewn well and finished well. Hell, he didn't even burnish it - it looks like he sanded it down - pressure burnished it to seal the ends - and then treated it. Nothing wrong with "missing" these steps - they are all just for looks. It fits the knife perfectly - no frills there either.

I like that in a worker - it just screams - 'He douche bag - if you put me in your safe I am going to cut you when you pull me out! I am meant to be used!'

I think the blade size is right (it seems very Kephart) and the handle is contoured enough to be comfortable but not too much to get in the way of many hand holds.

Nice.
