I currently have a D2 Para on order that should be here within a few days. Thought I'd pass the time by getting some of you to post pics in this thread, lol. I had a black on black plain edge that I sold last year and have regretted it ever since!:( I was contemplating between getting the Digi Camo model or the D2 model, but the D2 won out. I haven't had a folder in this type of steel yet, so thought I should give it a try.:D:thumbup:

I am amazed at the sheer number of D2 paras still available, I would have bet seriuos money that this sprint would last only a couple of weeks :confused:

I just found out about the D2 para recently, I'm glad they lasted much longer than 2 weeks, lol. I might just order an extra just to have it as a back up.:p
 
OK, but you have to look at my SuperHawks too. They are in the picture and I don't feel like taking another.

Here is one after I had it modded for tip up carry with a low rider clip. Bad lighting, it was mostly to show the clip.

The D2 version is cheaper than the normal one right now at stores. I guess they weren't as popular sellers.
 
Is that all you got? LOL, just kidding! I'll be sure to post some pics once mine arrives. Got to think of something unusual to put in the photo with it though.:p:D
 
Hey guys. This is my first post, and while I have been buying knives for use and/or collection for some time, this is my first time buying anything Spyderco. I recently just purchased a Delica 4, a Centofante III, and just a few minutes ago I pulled the trigger a D2 Para-Military in Foliage Green. They all look great and I have heard a lot of good things about each of them. I think that I am definitely going to keep the Para-Military knife, but I might end up selling either the Delica or the Centofante, I'm looking to choose one to replace my current EDC knife. I should be getting the Delica tomorrow, can't wait!
 
Love mine. Just can't make myself use it yet. Damn that honeymoon phase.

Love my D2 Para, but I'm deseperately searching for a D2 Millie. Payed high price for one, and customs here has been holding on to it for nearly four months now (don't ask), I'm about to write it off as a loss.

Here's my D2 Para with a shiny clip, and some "friends" - S&W .357, Surefire E1L, Victorinox Farmer, Omega Dynamic:

There seems to be some surprise that there are D2 para's still available. I had one and flipped it in a few days. I guess I'm in the minority, but the D2 was lightly rusting on me and I don't want to have to put effort into maintaining an EDC knife.

So I have a S30v replacement inbound. I really like the forest green handles on the D2 and the concept of the steel was great on paper, but in my experience I'd rather carry S30V or some other high grade stainless...

That's an interesting waistband clip on the Smith. Is that production?
If so what's the name?
