Got a deal today at the auction!!

I usually do pretty good with the auctions, a couple of weeks ago I bought a small craftsman metal lathe with all the accessories for $50!

I am at work today but I am sending my dad back to the auction to bid on a pantograph, drill press and disc sander for me. Hopefully that will turn out well!

Andy I haven't heard of WM Redmond and Sons before, but I'll check them out. I think Rachel does know that I got a deal, but she tries to play it off. I almost bought a milling machine yesterday too but I let it go, then she was like "Why didn't you bid more on it?" She is the one that made me buy my kmg after all.

Sounds like my wife--- Hang onto that one! :D

The tool auctions I have gone to around here, have sold things at "fair market value." NOWHERE near the kind of prices you're talking about Adam.

Ok my dad didn't have as good of luck today as I had yesterday, but he did pick me up a BIG granite flat surface plate for $15.

Oh, and the best part is we got the surface grinder unloaded and I emptied out the cabinet underneath it. It was stocked full of stuff!

I picked up the same model tester with penetrators, anvils, owners manual and a side stand that I have never seen before. I got a screaming deal at $500.......so you really did well........make sure you check the dash pot for oil before use. Good luck with your new "toys"
