Got a little excited with my para 2

I hear ya. I thought about that for a minute. That knife is used all day for cutting open packages. I should be okay. Don't plan on torquing on 'er too hard.

That is definitely going to catch on the seam of your pocket or rip the threads apart.

What did you cut it with?

Cut it with a fiber bit on my Dremel tool. Then used a grinding wheel for about an hour to get the shape I wanted. Putting a wet rag on it every ten seconds or so to keep it cool. Then just hand sanded it after that.

And yes, the idea is for it to grab your pocket corner and deploy as you lift. Works great and it's got an incredibly huge cool factor. I was going to trim it down a little more on the tab but I didn't want lose the middle finger flick.

Wow...... The Pony or the Para.... I don't know what's worse, but hey, if you like it, I'm cool with it.

Not my cup of tea, but not my knife either. Let's remember it is only $108 knife and 1 of several thousand.

Wow!!! I could never do that, even to my $50 blue persistence! It looks like there's almost no belly left. But I think it's awesome that you went against the grain and did something you knew would work well for YOU. I hope it works out well for you!

This should be illegal. I'm not a fan if waves. At all.
When you're sitting down and need a knife, be prepared to cut your couch.

Sorry if I offended anyone by cutting this thing (slight sarcasm, I know that nobody is truly offended). This knife is used for cutting and that's it. It's not my "beat on, twist things, split logs, pry, turn screws" knife. I have other knives and tools for that. I pull it out and cut things that should be cut with a knife. Should be plenty strong. Obviously not as strong as it was when stock but plenty strong for my needs. Thanks for the input though. I like different opinions. And don't worry, if I do break it, I will throw some pics up so I can get a good ole' fashioned "I told you so, you bonehead!" :-)

(Doesn't bother me but someone might be slightly offended.)

If it is strong enough for what you do then it looks good to me. You have added maximum wave functionality and a user knife is intended to be functional.

This Spug guy is awright, all things considered!

I think it's cool, wave's not my cuppa tea though but I envisioned this very thing before on the Para2- thought it was possible and you actually did it.

Ummmm...
Didn't even recognize it.

Way to go, though - breaking ground in areas many of us would not tread.

I agree with Quiet on that one:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Paul

I agree with Paul who agrees with Quiet on that one! :D

Seriously, though, if it works for you then that's all that matters. I actually like the size you left the wave tab.
