Got a new Para2. Some thoughts, but overall happy.

Interesting. I don't doubt you, Rob - but none of my seven paras have a sticky lock. YMMV.

I kinda like my para with just a tad sticky lock and I even try to adjust the stop pin to get to that point.
 
mine was beyond sticky. to the point that the liner bent before disengaging with a loud thwack. still waiting for the knife to come back from golden
 
cool news, have you had any info about what was wong and how they fixed it ?
 
no details, sadly. they just sent it back with a thank you note, a 2012 product guide, and an ad for baliyos. i may have to get one. it would have been nice to know exactly what they did, but I'm sure they're a bit busy to send everyone a personalized note. i'll try and upload a video with the before and after in the next few days.

anybody who is having problems with their spydercos should NOT hesitate to send it in. i was worried for no good reason.
 
thanks for the vid.. mine was exactly like that.. sent mine in still waiting.. its been almost a week now... just wondering did they charge you the $5? cause in my email with customer service they said "If your knife is covered under warranty your $5 will be returned."
