I would like to see the heritage series in 5160 myself, to me nothing screams Heritage like patina.I would very much like to see a 117 added to the Heritage series as the D2/Cocobolo knives are an outstanding value.
agreed.I would like to see the heritage series in 5160 myself, to me nothing screams Heritage like patina.
Brass and 5160, man what a combo.
I definitely appreciate the lighter weight of the aluminum.agreed.
Buck does needs to bring out more 5160 production knives. I'm okay with aluminum for less weight while carrying...but I also like brass too.....
good question. I expect you'll see dealers adding some of them end of this quarter to maybe next quarter.....and eventually Buck website as the dealer stocking orders are filled....but I guessing based on past years.....When will these be released and available for sale?
It looks like a few 124's are back in stock on the Buck website. As I write this, there are 8 left. I'm very tempted, but I need to pass.
saber run would be good. even a flat ground....If they released a saber grind 124 I'd be on it like butter on a biscuit.
I'd love one, but I can't justify a knife like that having a hollow grind.
