At a great price just now. I couldn't resist it NIB at a hair over 100.
It's not as sought after as the large Persian but a similar type Spyderco and it's bound to increase in value cause it's discontinued.

I love the Kris, even more than the Persians. Care to post up 50 high resolution photos?

It's been on my list since it came out......maybeee when I get back from Vietnam.

The Kris is an awesome knife. I would not mind another. Post some of those cool pics!:D

OK, I'll take them both together as soon as it shows up. Here's my old one in case you missed it, Artfully Martial.

Got to hand it to Spyderco for making some of the most unique knives out there! I like it.

Jill, you're going to have to start using them soon! Nice grab on the Kris.

I got my Pacific Salt, when it wears out I'll buy another.
I just don't see the need to use my nice minty Spydercos. Someday they will hopefully be worth a bit more than they are now.

Hopefully your using some of those millie's youve collected as well.

You need to get out there and experience more then just the Pacific Salt. :D

So everybody keeps telling me. But, I like my knives mint, once they are used they lose their appeal to me. (as well as a lot of their value)

:grumpy: I recall one knife maker saying something along the lines of "If I knew my knives were ending up in safes and display cases, I would have stuck with knitting."

Each to his own, I would only need about 4 knives if all I wanted to do was use them.
I collect and I want them mint not all scarred up. I derive my pleasure from them by looking at them in a perfect unblemished state. I don't see why this should bother so many people after all it's my money.

I'm not saying it bothers me. :foot: I totally understand the value and fun you get from collecting.

I'm working on my Spyderco collection as I get chances to buy different ones.
Slowed down a bit this year from last year. I never know when I'll buy or trade for the next, it just seems to happen. Most of the time rather spontaneously!

I'm pretty sure even Sal has said that he is disappointed with people that don't use them.

I'm sure everyone who makes knives understands that some people won't use them.

Look at the Strider gang. They make knives that you're supposed to abuse, but then they turn around have Mick make Damascus limited custom whatevers. :D
