Got bit by a Kershaw today...

I am not bashing your knives at all, I actually really like some Kershaw, like the Cyclone its a GREAT knife, just saying if the knife is made in China, it is prolly not a knife worth going through all the trouble of getting the warranty on it.

Exactly. I can't think of any of the guys here that go around bashing
your nice little knives...Why do you feel the need to come here and
kick ours around??

Are you trying to compensate for a lack of attention or does being an @$$
just come natural for you??

Because I like Kershaws, just not that particular model...

What model are you talking about, Mr. Einstein? Th OP was talking about a Blur, you come here bashing the Leek, and then you find out it was actually a Vapor. Do you even know your ear from your elbow?

Made in China or not, as far as I know Kershaw will provide warranty service just the same, provided the knife hasn't been abused (and we know their definition of abuse can be quite generous depending on their circumstances).

Whether or not it is worth it to send in a knife for service is of course up to the individual, also consider that most manufacturers like to know when one of their products is having issues.

Taking advantage of warranty service can actually benefit everyone in the long run. We just have to make sure we don't abuse the service and be sure to give the warranty department a chance to work instead of taking our kind hosts on this forum for granted.

Wow, this thread sure took an interesting turn.

Anyway, I contacted customer service, and I'll be trading up to a ZT 0200. When I asked to send my payment info, they said it would be covered by the warranty  Another testament for Kershaw's fantastic customer service!

See? What a great bunch the Kershaw people are! Glad your problems are fixed, and enjoy the 0200...it's a horse of a knife!

Awesome!! Good to hear that KS.
Enjoy the 0200. You just can't beat Kershaws CS.
