I've own a nice little BM 527 for 6 weeks. Out of those 6 weeks I had it two days. I had problem that blade was never fully wobble free and one of the torxes were portruding heavily. Now I can fix portruding torx easily and it was the torx holding stop bar, so I thought it might help the blade play. When I started to use my torx, the torx went into pieces even with lightest twist it peeled.
Well, I contacted my retailer who sent it behalf of me to BM customer's service as at the time it was their only BM 527. Well, I got it back today. Same old quick fixed parcel I made, same knife with small scar near pivot on the handle but new screw instead the one the opeeled off, also second pocket clip and torxes for it.
It still had some side to side blade play, so I swapped pivot screws vice versa and tightened them carefully to all the way: butter smootth opening and 0 blade play.
My first encounter with BM customer's service and I am very happy. Also, BM 527 Mini-Presdiio Ultra is knife which is pleasure to use and carry. Lightweight, good ergo's axis lock and 440c blade with sturdy spine and deep hollowgrind makes it excellent for urban carry especially since it rides deep and descreetly.
