I am getting REALLY fed up with my mailperson!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: She didn't come to the door AGAIN!!! This has become a repeating pattern over the last month or so. EVERY single package which has supposed to have been brought to the door hasn't been, and I've had to take the time to go and get them at the PO. I AM REALLY SICK OF IT!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: I've complained about it twice, but this is the LAST STRAW!!! I am going to go to the top of the food chain at my local PO. No more complaining!!!

I had three separate packages that were "out for delivery" today at the same time according to tracking; one was left in the mailbox, but my CGNMFSH's are MIA. Not even a "we missed you" note in the mailbox this time either. WTH??? :mad: :mad: :mad:

No knives for me. :( :( :( :( :( I really wanted to have them to mess around with for the New Year. I can't verbalize how angry I am right now (at least not in this forum)...

I am lucky. My Mailman and I are on a first name basis. We did have a fill in lady that was bad about doing just what yours is doing. I chased her down one day as I was tracking a insured package that showed being out for delivery.When I found her a couple streets over and asked if she had it her reply was "no,must have not come today". I informed her that tracking showed it out for delivery and I would run down to the PO to see where it was at,she then got out of the car and retrieved it from the back without any apology and a bit of disgust. I complained the next time I was at the PO to the Postmaster,last time I had any problem from her. She was fired later for trashing the local sales papers that were going to boxes with no other mail.
 
Well, after my Scrapmax took an unexpected trip to the Eastern Seaboard it finally arrived today. I am impressed with the sharpness, but is not sharp enough for my liking. I will hone this baby up and put the Elmax to some work.
Not real sure yet how I feel about the handle though. I thought it would be a little stickier, but oh well it is going to get a lot of use. I plan to make a Kydex sheath for it tomorrow, I think I will use orange after my wife's suggestion.

Yeah, that would really suck!!! I missed my lady, but I know she did come to the door. I was down in the barn and my buddy even told me he heard the mail truck. It didn't register with me about the signature confirmation even though it said that on the tracking. :o But hey... You and I will start of the new year with an awesome knife while these guys will have "Last Years" knife :D ;) :p

Sorry about the rant guys. I was pretty pissed off at the time, and seriously needed to vent. :o I had just spent about an hour driving around the area trying to track the lady down unsucessfully.

Short and sweet - I now have the knives :D after taking more time out of my day to make it happen. Grrr... :grumpy:

Here's the story:

This is just rich - shortly after my rant, I went and checked the DC #'s online again, and what do you know but they both show "Undeliverable as addressed", yet they also show a re-delivery date for Wednesday. Whatever. :rolleyes:

That was the last straw. I called my local PO to confirm that they were open and that the bigwig was there. I immediately jumped in the car and drove over (with the DC #'s in hand). After talking with "Chris" and explaining the problem I've been having to him in person (and sharing a couple of the previous complaint case #'s with him), we went looking for the boxes. There they were, right there with the mail for my area to be delivered on Wednesday, with absolutely no problem on the address labels. He mentioned that she must have gotten back early from her route (gee, gotta wonder why? :rolleyes:) and apologized. He actually seemed a little bit upset himself, and mentioned that they HAVE been having problems like this with this woman, and that "he's had enough of this, and he would take care of it this time". I don't know what that means, and I hope I didn't get her fired, but she should be disciplined for these actions of nothing but laziness and trying to get home sooner.

Anyway,

This one arrived in my mailbox today. It is without a doubt the sharpest Busse out of the box (thank you and with much appreciation BEEF) I have ever received and I have received some sharp ones - pretty impressive for a blade of this size. Hair popping sharp. I'm pretty dang excited.

A couple of pictures to meet the "requirements". Christmas tree reduction will be fun tomorrow. Thank you all and have a great new year. Mike
