Here's the story:

This is just rich - shortly after my rant, I went and checked the DC #'s online again, and what do you know but they both show "Undeliverable as addressed", yet they also show a re-delivery date for Wednesday. Whatever. :rolleyes:

That was the last straw. I called my local PO to confirm that they were open and that the bigwig was there. I immediately jumped in the car and drove over (with the DC #'s in hand). After talking with "Chris" and explaining the problem I've been having to him in person (and sharing a couple of the previous complaint case #'s with him), we went looking for the boxes. There they were, right there with the mail for my area to be delivered on Wednesday, with absolutely no problem on the address labels. He mentioned that she must have gotten back early from her route (gee, gotta wonder why? :rolleyes:) and apologized. He actually seemed a little bit upset himself, and mentioned that they HAVE been having problems like this with this woman, and that "he's had enough of this, and he would take care of it this time". I don't know what that means, and I hope I didn't get her fired, but she should be disciplined for these actions of nothing but laziness and trying to get home sooner.

Anyway,

Glad you got your knives. I plan on picking mine up tomorrow from the PO early on. Fingers crossed that it was sharpened by Lora :D

I hope they've been training her on the grinder, or you might just get a one-of-a-kind blade with a funky serrated recurve! :eek: :D ;)

Didn't get a notification that my NMFSH CG had shipped, but it arrived at my door this morning:thumbup:
 
I guess I will bring this thread back in a few weeks when I get mine.
