Got my orange/OD RC-4!

Great looking knife, thanks for the pics.

Anyone know what color sheath the orange RC3 comes with?

Sheath is black, just like the other models

Thanks. Just an FYI though, not all RAT models come with a black sheath.

Back to the pics. I really like the way the orange handle looks when it's wet. For some reason these knives just look like they are supposed to be dirty and wet.

Thanks again for sharing the pics, I've got to buy a new knife now. :D

Mine arrived today, sweet knife! A question for folks in the know, I got the Molle back for it, and was wondering about belt carry with it. I'm assuming the part that folds over at the top and secures with Velcro is supposed to be where you would slide a belt through. Since there's a solid piece of Velcro there, I don't see an easy way get it on a belt. You would have to feed the Molle strap behind the belt, squeeze the Velcro over the belt and hope it's secure, then feed the strap back through a couple of cross straps and snap it back down. Is this the correct process? There's not much Velcro holding on with a 1.75" belt, so it doesn't seem very secure. Any input? Is the Molle back not designed for belt carry , or is this the way it works?

Hi Mike,

You are correct on using the Velcro flap for belt carry. I use it on a 1 1/2" instructor's belt without any problems. The way I put it on is to un-snap the MOLLE strap and get a little slack (without un-threading the MOLLE strap) in the MOLLE strap, then pull the velcro apart on the flap. Feed the belt through then re-snap the MOLLE strap. That way you're not re-threading the strap behind your belt. Now, for a 1 3/4" belt it may not work as well but remember that you don't pull our knives out of their sheaths, you thumb them out, so it's not a problem with the sheath riding up as you try to remove the knife since your actually pushing down on the system to retrieve the knife. Also, make sure that your MOLLE strap is going under the closest cross strap to the bottom of the belt on the MOLLE back back.

Thanks for the suggestion Jeff- that makes more sense than trying to thread the Molle strap through while it's on the belt. A 1.75" belt doesn't leave much Velcro, but with the Molle strap I'm not worried about it falling off either. Thanks again!

Not jealous any more! WoooHooo, I got my orange RC-4 and tan RC-3 in the mail yesterday! One more time...WoooooHooooo!

Just upgraded my membership, and I will try to post the pictures tonight. That is if I can get my wife off the computer...believe it or not, her fantasy football league draft is tonight - last year she was the survivor league champ - only girl in the league - boy were those guys humble!

My orange RC-4, find it if you can!

I didn't think that it was bright enough, so I changed the lanyard over to blaze orange, and added the blaze orange leg tie.:D
