Got my Superleaf today

Just received my superleaf 2 days ago. Besides the stickiness, i found that the blade has little scuff marks shown in this picture. Does this happen frequently and is it considered normal? My warrior has even worse scratch marks but it's on it's way to spyderco already =/
 
Wow I must have over looked this thread somehow but yeah the SuperLeaf was a hit with me glad I was able to get one. Great job to all who were involved with this coming to production.
 
I'm not sure where you got it from our what their return policy is but from the looks of it and what you described as a sticky substance, this may have been a return from a previous customer. Some retailers let you buy a knife and allow you to send it back if you aren't satisfied with it within in a disclosed period of time. This my be the result of that but hey I honestly couldn't tell you for sure.
 
I'm not willing to pay for the shipping back to knifeworks. Happened to my warrior and they ignored my email... Anyway i have already spent $75 to have my warrior shipped to spyderco. I'm fine with the sticky parts, but the scuff marks are bothering me.

Good lord, buy from someone with better customer service if that is how they treat you.
 
I live in Singapore. Yup $75, because the warrior isn't some small sized knife. I wouldn't want to pay $27 for something that's not my fault u know... and for $27 i could be holding a para2 instead of manix2. Argh!!! I want a spyderco factory here!!!

Honestly I thought it was closer to the ZT300s, maybe even over them. That's what I get for not reading the specs I guess lol
