I can't be doing much death chatting this weekend. The Tour of California (bike race) starts Sunday and I start going to parties tonight!:thumbup:
 
on about the 4th beer, and I have Monday off from work. So far thing are looking good. Need some new Busse love, I know they are busy but man I need my Ruck. Even thinking about offering a trade for a Primos. No this is not a solitation just talking
 
Because El Skunko is obsessed with air guns these days I have been trying to convince him that he doesn’t need a .22 Cal 1000 fps air gun to knock down his vermin.

So I locked up the cats and set up my indoor 25 yard range and did some tests for him with my .177 Beaman R-1 that had been tuned about 10 years ago.

Then I moved to about 10 metes and this is what it can do. In four shots it blew the back out of 3/4 pine; good thing I had plywood behind it. And the neighbor’s yappy poodle didn’t even bark.

Of course it was just a case of jerking the trigger in the correct random pattern most groups have been about the size of a nickel and that isn’t very good. In fact good with this gun when it was new would have been .2 or so center to center.

I have killed a few city rats with this so if the Idaho rats are that much bigger either Skunk needs to move or clean the garbage from his yard.:eek:




 
So I just got the double strop/veritas green compound combo in fro Lee Valley. Never owned a strop before. Do I need to prep the leather or anything first? :confused:
