After a moderately exhausting search for local insulating firebrick I was lucky enough to be given the name of someone at so I am told "closest" distributor. They were so kind as to send me my bricks free of charge and write them off as samples. Saved me probably $30, but hell that is beer for the week. Hopefully be ready to H/T this weekend.

I will more than likely be building a proper HT oven in the next 6 months. If you need anything complex done and are in the area, some of that beer you are able to buy would cover it.[emoji3]
