Graham Bros knives

It almost looks chisel ground but I do not know for sure.Personal on the finger hole I guess,I ordered mine without.Majority wants stainless because of its diverse use.

Is the razel's chisel-tip also dual-ground, or is it chisel ground? Just curious.
Also, do you find the finger-hole pommel to be useful?

Finally, why, oh why, is everything in stainless steel these days? (More of a rhetorical question).

The tip is also dual-ground.

Answer your own stainless question, and request another steel from the Graham Brothers if that is what you want, and have a nice day.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The only knife we make that is chisel ground is our kitchen Razel, and it is not out yet. We made a couple to use in our kitchens, for testing and will be making a few small adjustments and should have them out this summer.

Everything else is ground on both sides. The Razel is hollow ground on both sides and the tip is flat ground on both sides.

Once again, thanks for the kind words.

We are doing a passaround with the Stars and Stripes Ringed Razel Mid-tech, it is a great way to try out a Razel. It should be posted in the passaround thread in the next day or so.

Cypselus, PM sent.

ARGGGG! You just HAD to show those off just after I spent a lot of money on kitchen knives!! :D

What's the thickness, blade length, etc on those kitchen Razels? :)

I enjoyed meeting Josh and John at the SHOT show this last week. Their designs are function based, developed out of their own personal need. These are men of integrity, their knives and business practices reflect that value...Take Care...Ed

Hey Josh. Do me a favor and put me on the list to recieve one of those kitchen knives when they are released.I'll contact you direct about the details.

Thanks, MPE

I will make myself a note and do my best to remember  You may want to check back with me though.

I have a midtech Razel which I've been very pleased with. Didn't come extremely sharp out of the box but then again for this kind of knife I don't think 'hair shaving' sharp is priority.

Hopefully a custom version will be in my future.

I saw some pics of the Graham knives Stars & Stripes.
I wanted to handle em and Jon and Josh were very gracious to offer both the CPM154CM and the S30 for passaround.
The Stars & Stripes passaround is here.

This is a GREAT way to handle the two types of steel and get to handle them.

The white stuff on the top one's handle is styptic....to stop the blood flow :)

Got to meet the Graham brothers yesterday at their shop and handle a bunch of their different knifes. Love the feel of the Razel and the ringed razel. Will definetely have to find a way to get one of those on order. Also love the Pocket Khukri they are producing. Looks to actually be a great skinning knife.

They are, as mentioned, wonderful guys. Very helpful and enthusiastic.

If you're in the Cleveland/Chattanooga area definetely look them up. www.grahamknives.com

Later,
