I spent about 10 years trying to decide whether I was willing to pay what these were going for.
I could have saved a lot of money if I'd just pulled the trigger as soon as I knew I wanted one.

This blade will be mine forever, Lord willing. I have rarely seen a knife and almost fainted, but something about this scale material color and mosaic pins combo on that satin INFI that I'm totally crazy about.
The scale has the feel of stabilized wood but I can tell is harder than that of the others I've handled. A few tiny voids here and there but hard to see unless you look really close. The full height convex is how I believe every NMFBM should be!
Any clues on what the scale material is called? I know some have said it is close to dymondwood? Also, anybody else have a knife with scales like this?

It's a Force 1 and they don't pop up very often at all. I've only seen 2 since 2015 when I became a Busse junkie

THAT, is an awesome grail story 👏These 2 Off Duty's were my longest grail hunt. Watching Liu Kang fall short with his last second snipe bidding attempt to overcome my snipe bid was just more icing on the cake in the OD Proto auction.He was soooo close to outbidding me when the clock ran out.

Didn't think I had a grail knife until I got this in a grab bag. Would have never picked the handle combo, but dang if it ain't pretty and the CS TG feels wonderful in hand.
I have a design for a modified MSe if the Custom Shop opens back up that would be considered a grail. I'd also pay a pretty penny for a satin Butaniku Short (handle options pending).

It's a Force One. They came out in 2004, which was a couple years before I stumbled across this forum. I think I first saw that model around 2009. Back then, I saw a couple pop up on the Exchange for just under $500, but by the time I saw them, someone else had already bought them. Back then, getting it for under $500 was part of the quest. In the years since, I've only seen a handful come up on the exchange or eBay, and for a lot more than $500.
