So as some of you may or may not know I have been trying to find a soup bone Charlow for some time(as are most of you good people).
I was looking for any blade shape new or used, but the one I had been lusting over the most was a certain days work owned by a hell of a great guy
named Dan. His soup bone Charlow was one of the most gnarled, cavernous, insanely beautiful ones I had/have ever seen. An exquisite specimen with
a deep marrow cavern. I always found myself going back to it daily to stare and wish
Well out of the blue one day I get a Pm from Dan asking if I would like to purchase it
.Due to some unfortunate events he was having to sell some of
his most cherished knives. I was over-joyed and quite bummed at the same time. Happy that I was able to finally buy not just my grail, but the very one I had
wanted more than any, but sad that Dan was having to sell it in the first place. Well, I just had to have it and bought it...of course
Not only did Dan remember how much I had wanted this knife, but he sold it to me knowing he could of doubled perhaps tripled his money on ebay. That
shows a lot of good character and I thank him immensely for it. Many if not all of us know what kind of guy Dan is, and this is just another example of why he is
a tremendous asset to this beautiful community.
Thanks again buddy!!
...now the pics!!
