Grail knife

The past year has been good to me... picked up two of my grail knives: Thorburn L51 and Inkosi. (Got the CRK just yesterday!)

Looking ahead, a Rockstead would be the next grail for me. It will be a while before I get serious about that, though.

Nice L51! They're kick-ass knives:D

Up until about last year it was a Kaj Embretsen custom. Kinda gave up on that dream. Now I'm not so sure. A full custom Shiro or maybe a custom Strider.

Funny thing, but I'm pretty happy with my collection right now, and I can't think of anything that is a grail (as I define grail) at the moment.

there are a few blades I would like to acquire, but nothing on the "grail" level.

Who do you think you are to tell someone to set their sights higher? He didn't impose his views on you, so don't impose your views on other people, and let him enjoy his knife.

Raise your rock bottom standards guys, c'mon. If you spend $200+ on a knife, it should be essentially perfect. Accepting a poorly made expensive knife instead of demanding perfection is just lazy and complacent.

Seems its OK for you to do....

the problem with grails is....each time you acquire one, you get the urge for another!!

I guess it's somewhat of a blessing my wife would never let me own one of grail knives (full custom Burnley squid) for personal reasons; she won't even let me own a CRKT model, so I'll never fall down the rabbit hole?

Or, I'll start acquiring everything else, trying tobsatify an insatiable hunger?

I'm on a constant search for the perfect bowie, but as for folders I'd really like a couple different microtechs..j
I don't really know why other than they just seem very well made.

When I was younger, it was always a Chris Reeves one piece hollow handled knife, any version. Now, have always wanted a knife like the Forest Bowie knife or a Searles Bowie.
