A "Grail" is supposed to be a hard to get knife. Most of you are completing missing the point of what a true "Grail" knife is.It is NOT a production knife, that is for sure.

A grail is something that is hard to acquire mostly due to rarity, not lack of funds. If money is the only limiting factor, then it's just out of reach, not a grail.
Think of a geologist that has discovered the largest T-Rex fossil known to man. His quest was all about persistence, determination, and passion. Such a finding would be a "grail discovery" due to rarity. You can't easily buy a T-Rex skeleton on the Internet
ETA: I think that production knives can be considered "grails" in certain instances. For example: rare vintage Spyderco's, vintage traditional knives, long-discontinued models, etc...
