Whooo!!! Great Beard of Zues!!! Am I seeing double vision... Oh Ross has 2 of em, pheew.... I'm not becoming old and senile yet...

Ross those are beautiful amigo!! Don't know how you do it man, but you do!!

Congrats

RDA, love that stonewashed custom blade, don't think I've seen one like that before. I like how you can still see the grind marks.

Two Eklipses, or is that Eklipsi? Whoa.

An oldie but goodie...

So kewl Mike! What's the white material around the blue?

Yeah, Shane.....last time I checked there were more "Grails" living in Alaska than there are in most other countries....
I would love to see some of your pics again.....

Will do, I'll try to carve out some time..

^ Ross you have 2 eklipses??? Holy crap! I am so jealous of you. Amazing scores brother. :)

For the moment… He's holding it for someone ;)

Ross I always liked Canada for a reason, one would be an amazing feat but two, blown away on two absolutely beautiful Hinderer creations. Well done again!

Mike, a real classic! When did Rick create that piece? You always seem to have another knife up your sleeve. Your collection seems to parallel the progression of Rick's knife making career. Beautiful!

Two Eklipses, or is that Eklipsi? Whoa.

BT.....I think we would have to consult Mr. Orlando for the correct use of the plural....but "Eklipsi" made me laugh.....!

Joe....thank you very much! I got lucky. Rick did all the work.

Amazing knives guys. Wow!!! Each of my hinderers are a personal grail. I have had a tough time deciding which one is my ultimate. I decided that these two are tied. :) I still get that excited kid on Christmas Eve feeling every time I pick one of these bad boys up. Sorry for the lint and dust. I carry them often!

Jensen.....buddy.....those are spectacular.....I'm excited just looking at them.
I have to agree that each of your knives is a grail in it's own right....and those two are no exception.
Post a picture of the sandblast/beadblast......that one is also stunning and has so much character.....
It's great to see pristine XMs but I love that one too....it looks the way an XM should look......

Thanks fellas! I love those two XMs. The DLC is starting to show a little wear. :) I'm going to keep rocking it till it looks like Jim's blackwashed spanto.

So kewl Mike! What's the white material around the blue?
David, I believe it was white linen micarta. I don't have it anymore. :(
Mike, a real classic! When did Rick create that piece?

That was an early gen 1 Joe. Maybe 2006 or 2007. Rick had about 6 or 7 with different color inserts on his table when Blade Show opened on Fri that year. I was fortunate to get one as Jack Alvarez tried to buy the last two but Rick only let him buy one.

I Love ALL Ricks creations but.... His earlier work really speaks to what an amazing visionary and artist He is.
I EDC a Hinderer or I don't leave the house ... Ricks "Artistic" representations while still being extremely stalwart knives at their heart is simply amazing to me.

Yes I have to agree with you Rubi about not leaving the house, and about Rick and his work. The guy has got the touch that is for sure! Now where can I find another Hinderer.... :D
