It's great to see pristine XMs but I love that one too....it looks the way an XM should look......

Pictures like I've seen just re affirms my amazement of Rick's skill in his designs and his execution of them! Owning any of these would make me do,the "happy pee dance" (whatever that is). :)
 
Very nice pictures guys! I too, am a huge fan of Rick's earlier work. I'd give up part of my small humble XM collection to acquire a Flame. I just love seeing pics of that bad boy! It's amazing to look at that knife and see exactly where the HUGELY popular XM-18 got it's roots from. Just awesome! Glad this thread was started, it's very nice :D
 
Jensen.....that Gen 2 is just gorgeous.....wonderful.
It's like the old, perfectly worked in pair of jeans that you wouldn't trade for anything and fits you better than anything else in the closet.
That is a magnificent XM.
 
^ Thank you! That's a perfect analogy Ross. That xm has become a part of me. I carry that one more often than not. Id compare it to a little kids security blanket. Its like an extension of me and I feel naked without it. It is the smoothest knife I've ever owned also . It fires open with a little flick of the thumb. Love it!!!!
 
Thanks for sharing the pic there, Jensen! I'd like to find a matching SB Ti scale for mine someday. As everyone else has stated, I love the worn in look on yours!

Jensen....thank you.....I was looking for that XM specifically.......it took me a week and a half of combing through old sale posts and about 30 emails to various people to find it. Then it took about three weeks to set up the deal and get it shipped....but in the end....absolutely worth it.....and the guy I bought it from turned out to be quite an amazing dude.....Blade Forums rocks!!!

Ross that sterile 3" custom spanto is really a gem to find bro! I have not seen many of those around... Congrats on a real beauty Ross!
Nice touch finishing it off with the Ti scale amigo!!
