Nice collection of Gransfors Bruks Cutting Tool's Jeff, I dont have one yet but I'm gonna start off with a Small Forest Axe, I still like the Idea and design of the Hunters Axe and use It for It's Intended use Skinning and Fur finishing work, Thank's for sharing the picture,

With the incredible GBP/USD exchange rate I picked up my GB Small Forest for ~$65 from Ray Mears' website. Not much point in getting second best when the best is currently very affordable.

Um, carrot, I guess you can paypal me the $70 that seemingly insignificant slip of the proverbial lips cost me.

I was looking at one of those sort of locally for close to $150. I think I like this deal better. Thanks.

They really do get used. I just gave them a hand rubbed 400 grit clean-up and light oil coating for the photo op.

I don't think any of them do anymore. Even the ones on the GB web site no longer have that stamp above their name.

I just got the item that this thread forced me to purchase! It came in the mail today. I am working on a review, but haven't finished yet. I will post it in a new thread when finished. Here is a family pic of my more interesting axes. There are others, but...meh.

The green one is a Hultafors Bruks? I picked up at a surplus store for $7. It had been spray painted green, but was in excellent shape.
