Makes breakfast, rounds up the cattle and makes my bed
TOAD stands for Toggle-Operated Anti Drag. The center wheel on the handle is is the closure for the locking device which is a sort of cam. It will self-close the blade without having to touch the blade. The "anti-drag" refers to the pivot/bushing set up. The blade opens and closes effortlessly, as there is no liner or lock spring to resist the opening and closing sequence. It is, in my opinion about as perfect as it gets in terms of smoothness. It also operates silently, so there are no clicks, thunks, or bangs when opening or closing the knife.
