I spent a considerable amount of time just reading the various threads on bladeforums; trying to learn as much as I could about different knives, makers, and the quality of the product. While browsing the threads, I happened upon a contest in which Aaron had entered one of his Gray Wolf Knives. I loved the knife he entered; it was a beautiful example of art and craftsmanship, expertly combined to create a tool that functioned exceedingly well while remaining very pleasing to the eye.
I had to know more.
I then contacted Aaron via email and, somewhat tentatively, asked him about his process, turn-around time, and procedures for placing an order.
I received a reply by the very next day and ended up ordering two of his knives. Ill do a review on each of them (after Ive used them enough to author a coherent review) but wanted to make sure I had shared my excellent experience with others and felt that Aaron is well deserving of the praise.
Throughout it all, Aaron was kind enough to answer my many questions in a very timely manner; going so far as sending me pictures (to make sure I was pleased with the end result) prior to issuing the bill. Once I had paid the bill, Aaron shipped the knives very rapidly and two days later it was Christmas in May (for me).
I couldnt be more pleased with the entire experience: the knives are fantastic (well beyond reasonable expectations) and his service is top-notch. I highly recommend Gray Wolf Knives to anybody in search of great service and excellent products.
I will definitely buy from him again in fact Ive ordered 4 more knives from him.
