thats the one I was going to say, hard to beat the Iron Mistress with Alan Ladd. I've been stuck on bowies ever since I saw that.

Wow! I must be getting old. I can't believe no one has yet mentioned "CHINATOWN". Remember......Roman Polanski and his Switchblade scene ? Yikes!

Just saw this (pretty new on DVD) about a week ago: 13 ASSASSINS - Japanese flick that I'd call a cross between SEVEN SAMURAI and THE 300. Worth a look...

There's a great Korean movie called "the man from nowhere" that has a knife fight scene. It's currently on Netflix instant streaming.

I just watched this. What. A. Movie. It was so good. Such a good story and so bad ass. I'm probably going to watch this again. So good.

Stupid movie but Spartan with Val Kilmer. Cobra, old school Stallone. The Hurt Locker, cutting up a car looking for a bomb detonator.

+1 for The Man from Nowhere, that fight scene was freaking brutal!

I simply went to google. entered "buy movies" into the search bar, and selected the first three results one at a time, and was able to find the movie twice out of the three using a the US release name the movie had.

It is available. I will not link to those sights, it is spammy. EDIT: or, Sites rather. ;)

Amazon has a VHS copy but that's it....I've looked everywhere

You must have a magic computer.

If you want to see some very realistic knife fights, get any of the Jason Bourne movies.
