Great eastern cutlery 25 beerlow

You are correct Jack, was it Sarah @pertinux that gave it that moniker 🤔 We can't go off my memory but I do remember she had a fondness for the 25's:) it seems that this iteration has stepped up the weirdness factor;)😆
It was indeed my friend, I hope she returns to us one day :) I think she posted a WLST thread here! :D :)

Same here.

😜 🤣

I agree 100% and in fact bought one of these and love it. I was just joking around (apparently unsuccessfully) with the guys debating the usefulness of this one.

I blame it on the stark absence of these irksome emojis - no knows whether it's a joke or not without them.😁

I'd like to think it's all in good fun, regardless of which side you fall on. It's a whimsical knife, therefore it should evoke whimsy.

As my wife will attest to, no one gets my humor in person either, so I’m not sure emojis will really help! :D

I do think most of the banter around this knife has been in good fun. I believe that’s why Bill throws something like this at us every so often.

Hello,

I like these little Beerlows and hope to be able to find one of each cover.

However, I wish the stamp didn't show when the knife is closed (see helpful picture below :). ). I understand why they had to do it but it would look better without the stamp exposed. A small thing for sure.

Have a great night,
Rick

May the Lord have mercy on Bill’s soul. What in the world was he thinking when he decided to place a tang stamp on one of his knives that would be so glaring that it would disrupt my ability to get a good nights sleep. I’m glad I just bought one as more than that would compound the problem! Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Sorry I offended you sir. Enjoy your night.

Before the drop, comments made me think this would be easy to get.

I was driving today and missed a reserve.

Hope I can pick a red one up and like I said before all of the examples.

I see them at some "dealers" but Im not paying $250

Watched one of the drops, without getting involved in buying, and all were reserved/gone in 30s.

Obviously a more popular pattern than some may think.
I actually like it, the same way I liked the beer comb, fork and bottle opener models of previous years.

I do not think making them takes away time that could have been used to make "real knives", which for many is just another barlow, as some llike different knives and companies have been making unusual knives for many years, so it is not a new thing.

About 1000 knives total. So less than ten knives per dealer per cover. Drops will be short.
