Great eastern cutlery 25 beerlow

The 25 is a very cool pattern, more useful than than it would seem for the size. I also like cap lifters. I don’t think this one is for me though. Not much cutting edge left in front of that cap lifter. It almost looks a little Rough Ryder Reserve-y to me. And this is coming from a guy that really likes the comb knives GEC has done.
Pretty much where I’m at. The 25 is a small knife, 3” closed. I’ll need to measure the blade, but Im guessing it’s under 2 1/2”, removing half for the cap lifter doesn’t leave much usable blade in the end.

25 is a joy to own and has shown many options in blades: Wharncliffe, Spear, Sheepfoot,Drop-Point etc plus some having 2 blades, but for me at least this one is a non choice option  As others have noted, you could self-harm with this thing without wanting to:eek:o_O. Beautiful scales and bolster make it all the more tragic.....bit like some beautiful vintage car that has some embarrassingly ludicrous 'customization'

It looks OK provided you don't open it...

Possibly GEC will sober up.... :D and offer some Drop-Points or Wharncliffes again as well ?

Agree. Put a useable blade on it with those wonderful covers and I will rejoin the insanity.
